Now Accepting Professional Training Proposals

Yesh Tikva Academy invites professionals, educators, and researchers to propose trainings that deepen understanding, strengthen practice, and expand the ways we support individuals and families navigating reproductive and family-building experiences. Whether you're an experienced presenter or have an important perspective you'd like to bring to a broader professional audience, we welcome your ideas.

We welcome proposals exploring topics such as:

    • Infertility and reproductive health: The emotional, relational, psychological, and social dimensions of reproductive challenges and treatment.
    • Reproductive grief and loss: Pregnancy loss, unsuccessful treatment, ambiguous loss, and experiences of disenfranchised grief.
    • Pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting: Navigating these experiences following infertility, loss, trauma, or complex family-building journeys.
    • Diverse paths to and beyond parenthood: Donor conception, adoption, surrogacy, single parenthood by choice, LGBTQ+ family building, and life without children.
    • Relationships, identity, and community: The impact of reproductive experiences on partnerships, families, body image, identity, faith, and belonging.
    • Clinical and professional practice: Trauma-informed approaches, ethical considerations, assessment, intervention, interdisciplinary collaboration, and culturally responsive care.

These topics are not exhaustive. We are especially interested in thoughtful proposals that illuminate overlooked experiences, challenge assumptions, or address gaps in professional understanding.

Who Can Submit?

We welcome proposals from mental health professionals, reproductive healthcare providers, physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, counselors, researchers, educators, and allied professionals whose expertise intersects with reproductive health and family building.

We also value proposals that thoughtfully integrate lived experience with professional knowledge.

You do not need to have previously presented through Yesh Tikva Academy to submit a proposal.

What Makes a Strong Proposal?

Our goal is to offer learning experiences that move beyond general awareness and equip participants with deeper understanding and practical insights.

We are especially interested in proposals that:

    • Address a meaningful educational or professional practice need.
    • Are informed by relevant research, professional expertise, and/or thoughtfully integrated lived experience.
    • Encourage critical thinking and reflection rather than presenting a single perspective as universal.
    • Offer practical takeaways participants can apply in their work.
    • Reflect sensitivity to diverse identities, family structures, cultural backgrounds, and reproductive experiences.

What Happens After You Submit?

    1. Submit your proposal: Share your proposed topic, a brief description, intended audience, learning objectives, and information about your professional background.
    2. Our team reviews your submission: We consider proposals based on educational relevance, alignment with Yesh Tikva Academy's mission, and current programming priorities. We review on a rolling basis year round.
    3. We'll reach out about next steps. If your proposal is selected, we'll contact you to discuss the training format, scheduling, and any additional materials or requirements. We'll also let you know if we're unable to move forward with this particular proposal.
    4. We develop the training together: Selected presenters work with the Yesh Tikva Academy team to prepare their educational offering, including any applicable continuing education approval requirements.

*Submission does not guarantee selection. Acceptance into Yesh Tikva Academy's programming does not automatically constitute approval for continuing education credits.

Ready to Share Your Ideas?

We believe professional education is strongest when it makes room for new questions, diverse perspectives, and meaningful exchange. If you have an idea that could deepen how professionals understand and respond to reproductive and family-building experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
